Logan District Model Railway Club Inc. is planning a trip to visit Gold Coast Model Railway club at upstairs clubrooms unit 27/316 Brisbane rd. Arundel (ENTRY VIA KENDOR ST) on the 14th September 2024. Gold Coast Model Railway club have multiple layouts from N scale, HO Scale, and G Scale and run both DCC and DC layouts side by side. Their DCC system is Digitrax and will need to download the app for Engine Driver app on android phone or WiThrottle for apple devices if you wish to use the Wi-Fi. Members will be more than welcome to operate one or more of your trains to perform a run. Start time at Gold Coast Model Railway club will be 10am till 2pm or whenever you wish to leave. https://www.goldcoastmodelrailwayclub.com/layouts.html The planned Itinerary of the day would be:

• To Drive DCC you will need Engine Driver app on android phone or WiThrottle for apple devices.

• Or use the club plug in handheld controllers.

• Meet at the club house at 8.30am to leave at 9.00am to carpool.

• It will take around 45 – 50 minutes to get to Gold Coast depending on traffic.

• Or meet at Gold Coast Model Railway club at Arundel, Gold Coast 10.00am arrival. • Be greeted by Gold Coast club at 10.00am to look around and be taught how to run on their layout.

• The Gold Coast club will be putting on lunch for $6 a burger n $2 for drinks.

• Conclude at 2pm or when you have had enough.
